Dave Shilton Honoured

Warwick District councillors decided at their meeting on Thursday 26th February 2004 to elect Dave Shilton, Liberal Democrat councillor for Kenilworth Park Hill ward, to become Vice-Chairman of the Council for the coming year starting in May. The Chairman will be a fellow Liberal Democrat, Chris Davis, who represents Leamington Milverton ward.
Dave Shilton has been town and district councillor for Kenilworth Park Hill since 1995, and county councillor for Kenilworth Park Hill and Stoneleigh since 2001. He was mayor of Kenilworth in 2000.
Dave said: "This is a great honour for me personally, and for my wife Shirley. It is also excellent that Liberal Democrat councillors will be holding the two senior council posts in the same year."
