Another Success for Kenilworth In Bloom

Kenilworth In Bloom, chaired by Liberal Democrat councillor Dave Shilton, is celebrating another success this year with a silver gilt award overall, and the awarding of the HSBC trophy for excellence to the Odibourne allotments.
This was despite Kenilworth being entered into the "large town" judging category for the first time, alongside much bigger rivals such as Leamington, and also a difficult year for sponsorship and funds - plus the bad weather, of course.
Dave Shilton said:
"The results were brilliant for us, and make all the hard work done by our committee worthwhile. Including the allotments on the judges' tour really paid off. They are absolutely wonderful, and play a big part in the community life of Kenilworth."
