Road Marking Delays Risk Lives

Liberal Democrat councillor Dave Shilton (Kenilworth Park Hill & Stoneleigh) says that road marking delays by maintenance contractors are putting lives at risk.
Dalehouse Lane, Kenilworth was resurfaced four months ago, but a large backlog of work at the county council's new contractors has meant that it still has no road markings.
Dave Shilton said:
"Something needs to be done urgently. This is a fast road, one of the main routes into Kenilworth, and with the dark nights there is a terrible risk of a head-on collision between vehicles."
Following Dave's personal intervention, we understand that the maintenance contractors have now promised to complete the road marking by the end of next week. For safety's sake let's hope they do!
