Dave Shilton Welcomes Action on Speeding

Councillor Dave Shilton (Lib Dem, Kenilworth Park Hill & Stoneleigh) has welcomed a decision by Warwickshire County Council to introduce new safety measures in Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth.
Action will include red road surfacing and painted "Slow" signs at the junction with Windy Arbour.

Dave Shilton said:
"This is a nasty junction, with a history of accidents. The new measures should make people slow down, particularly people from outside Kenilworth who perhaps don't realise how bad it can be.
However, I want the work done quickly, not delayed for no apparent reason like the new 'puffin' crossing in Dalehouse Lane seems to have been. We need action on both these schemes as soon as possible."
