Work Starts on Dalehouse Lane Crossing

Work has finally started on the 'puffin' crossing on Dalehouse Lane, Kenilworth, eight months after the decision for its go-ahead was first announced, and four months later than originally hoped.
Cllr. Dave Shilton (Lib Dem, Kenilworth Park Hill & Stoneleigh), who pushed hard at County level to get the £40,000 project approved under the 'Safer Routes to School' scheme, said that he was delighted that work had started and the new crossing would soon be a reality.
