Lib Dems Win Paddox Ward By-Election

In the by-election held in Rugby Borough Council's Paddox Ward on Wednesday 12th October, the results were:

Noreen New (Lib Dem) 471

Con 344

Lab 159

Cllr Ron Ravenhall, veteran member of the Liberal Democrat group on Rugby Borough Council said: "Noreen is intelligent, articulate and hard working. I am sure she will be an asset to Rugby Borough Council."

The Liberal Democrats have now won both the last two local government by-elections to be held in the Rugby and Kenilworth constituency.
