Thank You for your support!

May 9, 2007 9:03 AM

Thank You DiamondWe would like to thank all of our supporters for their help and votes in the recent Rugby Borough council election.

With your support, we successfully returned all of our councillors (Neil Sandison, Noreen New, and Sue Roodhouse) that were seeking re-election. Over the country as a whole, we returned over 300 more councillors than Labour and were the effective opposition to both Conservatives and Labour.

We also made solid progress in our target wards of Benn (Ted Pallott) and Dunchurch and Knightly (Samantha Crawley). Our support in the remaining wards remained solid.

Thank you for ongoing support and we look forward to serving you during the year with regular updates through the Focus leaflets.

If you would like to contribute further to the Liberal Democrats in Rugby, please contact Mark Gregory on info@rugbylibdems.org.uk or to make a financial contribution please contact Beatrice O'Dwyer on treasurer@rugbylibdems.org.uk.
