Getting Fit

Jerry Roodhouse, PPC for Rugby and Bulkington has been getting fit for the General Election campaign.

Jerry said, "I was getting overweight and I know how much a campaign can take out of you so I decided that I needed to loose weight and get fitter. I have joined a local keep fit facility but have also used the equipment on the GEC field. I have not given everything up and still enjoy a beer. As the campaign gets going keeping fit will help keep me going."

Overweight and obesity is a big killer in the UK and also in the Rugby area. The Public Health joint Director points the increasing problems due to overweight in his annual report.
