Isolated in Rugby?

Whilst the cold weather persists we should seek to help each other and knock the door of older or vulnerable people and any neighbours that you may be concerned about, this was the call that Jerry Roodhouse made this week.

Jerry, the prospective Parliamentary candidate for Rugby and Bulkington said, "We need to bring back some of our community spirit and just check to see if all is OK. As I have gone around the area I have met unsung champions who have put salt down and helped get shopping for local neighbours, I also met people who have met for the first time even though they have lived in the area for some years"

Jerry is also urging people if they know of any older people who are having problems that they can get in touch with such groups as Age Concern at the Claremont centre that do hot meals and can give advice. We should be giving out good neighbour awards perhaps the local media or businesses could sponsor this?
