NVQ

Jerry Roodhouse, The PPC for Rugby & Bulkington said, "Our qualifications for NVQ level 2 or higher is getting worse year on year."

Research by the Liberal Democrats shows that Warwickshire is letting young people down especially those who need work.

Prospective Parliamentary candidate Jerry Roodhouse said " It is a reflection of the lack of leadership by the Conservative County Council. The Council makes all the right noises but when you scratch the surface you can see the real problems and how we perform poorly when compared to elsewhere, action needs to be taken and the Liberal Democrats will be pursuing this further with the Conservatives".

Warwickshire is in the worst 20% of County authorities in relation to young people from low income backgrounds going onto higher education. 1.8% of 16 - 24 year olds complete an apprenticeship compared to 6.2%. in Shropshire

Our qualifications for NVQ level 2 or higher is getting worse year on year, in the worst 20% in relation to working age people who can access to employment by public transport.

These are just some of the highlights that we have found and will be campaigning to seek to give young people the opportunity they need.
