Liberal Democrats are calling on Rugby Borough Council to kick-start a new programme of council house building that will meet future needs for family's and older residents who may want to move to a smaller property.

Prospective Parliamentary Candidate and Rugby Borough Councillor Jerry Roodhouse will be seeking the Conservatives support at the next full Council meeting, Jerry said, "we have a golden opportunity to get on and help people who are on the waiting list and also help those who need better housing, far to long we have to bow down to this Labour Government, enough is enough, we have the future growth of Rugby to consider and we need to start a new council house building programme"

Debate will take place at Rugby Borough Council 10th Feb 7pm
