The Warwick University just vote campaign to encourage students to participate in the General Election was launched on Friday. Taking part in the campaign, local Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate Alan Beddow said, "The issues facing Britain at the moment are going to have a huge impact on Students. Increasing the student vote will force politicians to listen to what students have to say."

Jerry met Nick Clegg in Birmingham at the week end and made sure that local issues were heard loud and clear. Jerry presented Nick with a Rugby ball to keep in his office to remind him about Rugby and the growth of this area and about the lack of local control over st Cross hospital.
