Lib Dems win by-election in Warwickshire and gain new County Councillor

Liberal Democrats in Warwickshire are celebrating a fantastic by-election victory for the County Council Ward of Stratford North.

The by-election was won by Dominic Skinner on 29 November 2018. Dominic is also the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Stratford Upon Avon constituency.

The turnout was 29% and Dominic Skinner won with 877 votes (40.7%) with a +16.5% change from 2017.

Other results: Conservative 610 [28.3%; -0.2%], Stratford First Independents 345 [16.0%; -17.1%], Labour 180 [8.3%; -0.9%], Green 144 [6.7%; +1.6%].

Liberal Democrats gain the seat off Stratford First Independents. Thank you and well done to all the members in Rugby who went to help!
