NHS bodies must engage to explore options for old St Cross building
Jerry Roodhouse has written again to the local newspapers about his calls for the old St Cross building to be put back to use.
Dear Editor,
A few weeks ago I wrote about the old St Cross building and how we should seek to explore options to reopen it. I contacted UHCW about this and the silence since then has been deafening.
Over the last few weeks I have also contacted other various organisations mostly NHS bodies all to the same end nothing not even an acknowledgement saying please do not disturb or words to that effect. It begs the question, are organisations today frightened or is it just the latest in a long line of tactics to just ignore people. Surely these actions develop a culture of mistrust and one of secrecy?
The best way has to be for modern organisations to be open and honest, acknowledge emails and letters in an honest way. If they are too busy say so or if they think it cannot be done say so. My experience over the years is that those organisations that engage and seek out the solutions are the ones that have a high reputation. Meanwhile silence continues and as long as it does I will keep knocking on the door asking the questions about St Cross.
Yours sincerely,
Jerry Roodhouse
