Rana writes about the current political situation

Rana Das-Gupta, the Liberal Democrats Parliamentary Candidate for Rugby and Bulkington, has written to the local papers about the current political situation and why everyone with liberal values must rally together to fight the next General Election.

Dear Editor,

I would urge everyone with liberal values and who wants to see a fair, free and open society to support the Liberal Democrats and rally together to fight the next General Election.

Boris Johnson's unlawful attempt to pervert the course of parliamentary business and his continued use of inflammatory language in the Houses of Parliament is not acceptable.

Our current MP, Mark Pawsey, has stood by and watched the situation backing the Prime Minister. They are both playing fast and loose with the law, the truth and people's lives.

The Liberal Democrats exist to implement rational policies that will protect the United Kingdom in its health, economy, security, freedoms and environment.

The country deserves better than Boris Johnson, Rugby deserves better than Mark Pawsey and the Liberal Democrats demand better. If you agree then join us.
