Pavement renewal works are now to be carried out early in January and not delayed until beyond April 2015. This follows on from local residents and Cllr Jerry Roodhouse working together to get the issue resolved. Jerry Roodhouse met with Senior Officers at Warwickshire County Council and urged them to deliver on the promise they had made.

Jerry said "It is unacceptable for the scheme to be delayed because the money ran out when it had been included in the budget. WCC needed to deliver on this scheme as promised. I am glad they are doing this."
