Co-op planning application for Oakfield Rec

23 May 2015

Agents acting on behalf of the Co-op have put in a planning application for the Oakfield Recreation ground off Bilton Road.

They are proposing to redevelop the area with about 60 houses.

They propose keeping the footpaths onto the site from Charles Street and Northcote Road and the small play area by Northcote Road. Cars would enter and leave the site from Bilton Road.

The planning application can be seen on the Rugby planning portal using the planning application number R13/1528 - see http://www.planningportal.rugby.gov.uk/search.asp .

For the loophole left in the national planning policy framework which has allowed the Co-op to make a planning application see - http://rugby.lib.dm/a8WVN.
