Councillor Jerry Roodhouse, Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group on Warwickshire County Council and Rugby Borough Councillor sends condolences following the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

Liberal Democrats everywhere will be deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.

"Queen Elizabeth II leaves a legacy of dedication to public service that is an inspiration to all. On behalf of the Liberal Democrat Group, I send our condolences to her family and express our gratitude for her dignity and grace".

We are all mourning the profound loss of a great monarch who served our country so faithfully for all her life and who was loved the world over.
