Congratulations Mr Mayor

On Thursday 21 May Cllr Richard Dodd was installed as the Mayor of Rugby.

Richard Dodd trained as a paramedic and works for the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

He was first elected as a councillor for Paddox Ward in 1999 and has also been a county councillor for the last ten years.

Richard's theme for his Mayoral year is The Mayor's Life Savers Challenge, with volunteers providing basic life support training to groups, associations and clubs within the borough.

His chosen charity is Rugby First Responders.
