Council Tax Up In Rugby

Rugby Borough Councils ruling Conservative group has succeeded in having their budget approved at last nights Budget setting Council meeting. This includes a Council tax rise for Rugby's residents - the first in seven years.

Cllr Jerry Roodhouse, the Lib Dem Group leader thanked RBC staff for their hard work in his leaders speech. He then asked for clarity on the Council's vision, investment in mental health and wellbeing and proposed a review of Council assets.
