A personal message from Tim Douglas
Dear Resident,
Despite not being your elected Councillor I have continued to take up and tackle local community concerns such as solving graffiti, damaged kerbs and potholes.
I have also been working with County Councillors Richard Dodd and Jerry Roodhouse on transport and highway related matters ensuring your voice is heard in the right place. We communicate with you through our regular Focus newsletters, which we produce and distribute at our own cost, to keep you informed about what is happening in the ward all the year round, not just at election time.
I have attended Community Forums with Councillors Dodd and Roodhouse, where we as local Liberal Democrats campaign for better Policing, road safety, and services such as respite care for those who need it.
In a time of tight budgets it is difficult to promise instant solutions. However, as a team we will continue to listen, take action and see things through. This means ensuring that resources are targeted towards the areas of greatest need and your local priorities.
I hope that like me you believe community action is what is needed in Hillmorton. Trust me with your vote on 22nd May so that I can raise your voice where it matters and make sure Hillmorton is not left behind.
Best wishes,
Tim Douglas
