Empty shops in Rugby Town Centre

Figures considered by The Councils ruling Conservative Cabinet earlier this month show that they are continuing to fail to bring customers and retailers into the Town Centre, fewer people are visiting the Town Centre with a 4% fall in last quarter's figures. Council staff admit the decline is down to the number of empty shops.

Rugby Lib Dems say, "As part of our commitment to support our Town Centre, your Liberal Democrat Councillors have supported the cross-party call for Marks and Spencer's to retain a presence in the Town."
