Found – the planning application the Tories say does not exist

Last week Cllr Helen Taylor (Con, Coton & Boughton) published a leaflet in Hillside saying, amongst other things "No planning applications for the proposed development on Ashlawn Road have been submitted to Rugby Borough Council". The factual basis of this claim was immediately challenged by the Liberal Democrats - see http://rugby.lib.dm/a5WMD .
A picture of the "missing" planning application is shown on this page. The planning application was found on Rugby Borough Council's planning portal - where it had been since 19 August 2014.
Cllr Taylor is the member of the conservative's Rugby Borough Council cabinet with responsibility for corporate governance.
