Give us back our railings

18 Feb 2015

Members of the Methodist Church in Russelsheim Way, Rugby have complained to local councillors about their treatment by Warwickshire County Council.

As part of their work on changes to Rugby's gyratory system the county council's contractors have removed the railings outside the church. It appears that the county council is not planning to put them back when the work is over. Railings may be removed from other parts of the gyratory system as well.

Cllr Bill Lewis said "I can find no record that the county council have consulted anyone about their plans to permanently remove these railings".
