Helping to make Eastlands a No Cold Calling Zone

5 May 2014

After concerns raised late last year by Warwickshire Trading Standards of unscrupulous door to door salespeople, Cllr Dale Keeling recently ran
a campaign in part of Eastlands asking people to place ‘No Knocking’ stickers in their windows if they do not wish door to door sales-people knocking, many did so therefore Dale intends to role this out across the whole of Eastlands and officially ask the Borough Council to make Eastlands a no cold calling zone, the first in Rugby.

This initiative will also help protect residents and combat doorstep crime such as distraction burglary as well as a warning not to knock from rogue traders.
