Limpet Liberal Democrats frustrate Tory Councillors

One of the most interesting speeches during last night's budget debate at Rugby Borough Council was given by Cllr Jim Buckley (Con, Hilmorton) who accused the Liberals of being the limpets of British politics - see this BBC report on the record breaking strength of limpet teeth http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-31500883 .

Of course all of this had very little to do with setting Rugby's budget. Eventually the mayor took a leaf of "Just a Minute" Nicholas Parson's book and ruled Cllr Buckley out of order for "deviation" and forced him to sit down.
