Under the coalition government unemployment in Rugby fell by 71% - see http://rugby.lib.dm/a1WWW . Major businesses such as Alstom, Gap, Jaguar Land Rover and the London Taxi Company have invested in Rugby and the surrounding area.

Now a business survey by accountancy firm Ernest Young shows that all this is under threat whilst the Tories threaten our membership of the European Union. Three quarters of major businesses investing in the UK do so because of our European Union membership and a third of businesses say they will freeze or reduce their investment over the next two years as the Tories bicker over our continuing membership of the single market - see http://www.ey.com/UK/en/Issues/Business-environment/2015-UK-attractiveness-survey .
