Neil Sandison overcame the national swing against the Liberal Democrats and held on in Eastlands ward. The result in full was:

Neil Sandison (Lib Dem) 1,071

Ian Picken (Con) 1,070

Steve Weston (Lab) 837

Gordon Davies (UKIP) 450

Alex Linden (Green) 286

Rob Johnson (TUSC) 49

The three Liberal Democrat councillors for Eastlands Ward remain Neil Sandison, Dale Keeling and Sue Roodhouse.
