Nuisance Motorcycles Policing Priority

Illegal off road motor cyclists have been causing problems in the Eastlands area.
Following complaints from residents the police have agreed to make this a policing priority for the summer months.
Cllr. Neil Sandison said,
"The area between Hillmorton Road Bridge and Ashlawn Cutting Bridge has been identified as a regular problem, but we also have complaints from Winfield Recreation Ground. If you do see illegal bike riders abusing these open spaces let the police, your local PCSOs or community support officers know there is a problem."
