Online Petition to Reinstate Services at St. Cross
Lib dem Councillors Dale Keeling and Marion Nash have both signed the online petition to reinstate services at St. Cross.
The petition which has already been signed by two and half thousand people states that Coventry Hospital can no longer cope with the ever increasing demands in its services. The petition calls for the workload to be spread by reopening wards, A and E , surgery, antenatal care and maternity, plus replacing any other services that have been lost in the past.
Rugby Borough Councillor for Rokeby and Overslade, Councillor Marion Nash said, 'This government's ideologically-driven cuts to the NHS has seen essential units at St Cross hospital closed down. This is only the beginning of their campaign against our greatest asset; the NHS. The community of Rugby community must join together to fight to get these services reopened as a matter of urgency. St Cross has already been stripped of some its valuable services - please join me in campaigning to bring these back by signing this petition.'
