Overslade Lane resurfacing

2 Aug 2015

Two years ago Bill Lewis fought for (and succeeded) in persuading the county council to have the strip of Overslade Lane outside the Co-op resurfaced. We continued to receive complaints about the section of Overslade Lane up to the junction with Bawnmore Road (which is particularly bad). Your borough councillors Bill Lewis and Marion Nash continue to meet with the county's highways engineers and press for improvements around the ward. In July the county council e-mailed us to say that the strip of Overslade Lane up to Bawnmore Road will be resurfaced this autumn.

[Technically this piece of road is not in Rokeby & Overslade Ward but lots of people living in the ward have complained to Bill and Marion about it.]
