Paddox Primary School Expansion

18 Apr 2014

Cllrs Noreen New and Jerry Roodhouse recently attended a consultation event, regarding the proposal by Warwickshire County Council to expand Paddox Primary to become a three form entry school.

WCC are planning to extend several schools across Rugby, which are rated as 'outstanding' or good by Ofsted inspectors. These expansions are required to provide more places for our increasing population.

Cllr New stated: This is positive news for Paddox Primary School, as it will give more children the opportunity to attend this outstanding school, but local residents have raised concerns about the extra traffic that will be generated as a result of this expansion.

The Head and Governors are keen to work with us to discuss ideas and look for possible solutions to help manage this problem.

We will keep you updated on when the local consultation is taking place and ensure that you have an opportunity to raise your concerns.
