Richard Dickson backs Dunchurch’s small traders

8 Nov 2014

On learning of David Wilson Homes' plans for Dunchurch Village centre one local trader wrote "I have been running a business in the village for over 30 years and this will probably be the nail in the coffin if this goes through".

Richard Dickson is backing local traders in their fight against this scheme. Together with the local liberal democrat campaign team Richard is writing to every resident of Dunchurch to tell them how they can lodge their objections.

David Wilson Homes is a subsidiary of Barratt Development plc. Last year Barratt had a turnover of £3billion, made profits of £390 million and paid their Group Chief Executive £6 million. A huge contrast with livelihoods of the traders in Dunchurch who may be affected by their plans.
