Rugby Borough Council's Cabinet consists of the town's top tories. Here is what they decided when they met on 5 January 2015.
- 1. To press ahead with a budget for 2015-16 which involves drawing on the Council's reserves - see http://rugby.lib.dm/a1RQC .

- 3. To note (but not to do anything about) Warwickshire County Council's cutbacks in support for vulnerable tenants.
- 4. To consider a housing budget for 2015-16 based around a 7% rent increase (5% above government guidelines) - see http://rugby.lib.dm/a8RH0 .
- 5. To agree the charity grants which will go into the 2015-16 budget proposal.
- 6. To agree last year's Statement of Community Involvement.
- 7. To agree a timetable for the next local plan.
- 8. To pigeon-hole Cllr Maggie O'Rourke's motion on protecting Rugby's open spaces.
