Rugby Christmas and New Year bin collections and Hunters Lane recycling centre opening times

All Green bin collections have been suspended until Monday 5 January 2015.

For what is happening on each day see below.

Christmas Week

Monday 22 December - black and blue collections as normal and an extra collection for everyone who would normally have a black collection on Christmas Day (25 December). Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Tuesday 23 December - black and blue collections as normal and an extra collection for everyone who would normally have a black collection on Boxing Day (26 December). Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Wednesday 24 December - black and blue collections as normal. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Thursday 25 December (Christmas Day) No collections but residents who would normally have had a black collection on Thursday will have had an extra collection on Monday 22 December. Hunters Lane recycling centre closed.

Friday 26 December (Boxing Day) No collections but residents who would normally have had a black collection on Friday will have had an extra collection on Tuesday 23 December. Hunters Lane recycling centre closed.

Saturday 27 December. No collections. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 8.30 to 16.15.

Sunday 28 December. No collections. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 8.30 to 16.15.

Hogmanay Week

Monday 29 December - black and blue collections as normal. Hunters Lane recycling Centre open 9.30 to 15.15.

Tuesday 30 December (New Year's Eve) - black and blue collections as normal. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Wednesday 1 January (New Year's Day) - black and blue collections as normal !!! But the Hunters Lane recycling centre is closed.

Thursday 2 January - black and blue collections as normal. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Friday 3 January - black and blue collections as normal. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 9.30 to 15.15.

Saturday 4 January. No collections. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 8.30 to 16.15.

Sunday 5 January. No collections. Hunters Lane recycling centre open from 8.30 to 16.15.

The Hunters Lane recycling centre is a Warwickshire County Council responsibility.

(You might well think this split of responsibilities is crazy - we didn't make these rules - the split of responsibilities was decided by Ted Heath in the early 1970s).
