Rugby Liberal Democrats release The Little Green Book
Rugby Liberal Democrats have released The Little Green Book, a practical guide to helping the local environment.
Tackling climate change and enhancing our local ecology and environment are issues that many individuals have raised with Liberal Democrats in our conversations with residents.
The purpose of The Little Green Book is our starting point in presenting something that is practical and which we can all get involved in and enjoy.
Residents can become a citizen scientist by surveying their garden and local green areas for the varieties of life that exist and find out what pollinators they have.
Commenting on the release of the booklet, Councillor Jerry Roodhouse (Paddox and Eastlands), said:
"Only by working together can we start improving our biodiversity and local environment. Warwickshire does not perform well against its own indicators for biodiversity, so we need to do more. I hope residents find this booklet helpful and practical as well as a way that they can help our environment and planet."
