Safer route needed for school children in Cawston

Local Liberal Democrats campaigners Lee Chase and Abigail Sawyer are concerned that there is no safe place to cross for children going to Cawston Grange Primary School.

Calvestone Road needs a safe place for children to cross on the way to school.

At either end of the school day, cars that park in this area using the footpath blocking visibility, especially for younger children, and there have been some very near misses.

More needs to be done with funding for a new programme of safer routes to school with 20mph limits. Liberal Democrats have long championed the safer routes scheme across Warwickshire and want to see it utilised in Rugby.
