Hospital of St Cross Rugby - no accident and emergency unit

As reported locally in the news West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) plans to move the final ambulance stationed at Rugby's St Cross to Coventry in October.

Rugby Liberal Democrats are calling on the ambulance service to explain to Councillors and the public why they plan to remove the last ambulance stationed at St Cross.

Group Leader, Councillor Jerry Roodhouse said, "I've found nothing to show that WMAS has conducted any kind of public consultation, or even spoken to the borough or county council about this."

A petition has been launched to stop the removal of the last ambulance service in Rugby.
