Cllr Bill Lewis is collecting signatures on a petition against David Wilson Homes' plans.
The petition reads:
"We the undersigned petition Rugby Borough Council to reject planning application R13/2102 because the flood risk, air pollution, traffic congestion, impact on schools and health services and the effect on pedestrians and cyclists make the scheme unsustainable".
