Snow Wardens – Bill says, “Be Prepared!”

Last winter a small band of volunteer Snow Wardens, organised by Liberal Democrat Community Champion, Bill Lewis, helped our local communities by keeping vital sections of roads and pavements open in Rokeby, Hillside and Overslade during extreme winter conditions.

It may seem odd at this time of year to think about roads and pavements blocked by snow and ice but just remember how bad it was last winter. We have to be prepared.
