Successful Pothole Treatment

10 Sep 2014

Rokeby & Overslade Lib Dem Councillor Bill Lewis has regular contact with the County Council's Locality Team Leader and site meetings when necessary to resolve highway problems, such as potholes in the road and on the footway and drainage issues.

Bill discovered that the condition of the pavements at the entrances to the Coop of Overslade Lane and Lytham Road was dangerous with cracking tarmac and deep potholes. Bill said "I don't only act on what residents tell me about such problems. I also go out to look for problems and get them sorted." The County Council has resurfaced the entrances at Bill's request.
