The Shakespeare Gardens Boneshaker

The most common complaint in Rokeby & Overslade Ward is poor road maintenance by the county council with Shakespeare Gardens coming in for particular criticism. During a recent liaison visit with two of the county's engineers we arranged a meeting a select group of local residents. A score or more of residents would readily have turned up for the meeting but we wanted to get a point across and not intimidate the council's staff by going mob handed.

Shakespeare Gardens is on the list for "structural resurfacing" (not just the top dressing that Tennyson Avenue got last year). Unfortunately Shakespeare Gardens has not got to the top of the list yet but some of the worst patches should be worked on this autumn.
