Tory spending review – nurses to have to pay for their own training

One of the reasons why hospital budgets are under pressure is that they have to use high cost agency staff to keep wards staffed.

The conservatives plans to make nurses pay for their own training, announced by George Osborne yesterday (25 November 2015) are unlikely to make it easier for hospitals to find skilled nurses to fill staffing gaps.
