Two big decisions for tomorrow

9 Feb 2015

Tomorrow, Tuesday 10 February, Rugby Borough Council is set to take two big decisions.

First up - will it follow the recommendation accepted by the tories on the Cabinet in January and increase council house rents by 7% or will it follow the advice of the Coalition Government and opt for a figure much closer to 2%? - See http://rugby.lib.dm/a8RH0 .

Then secondly will the Council lay our green fields open to property speculation by using an old figure for housing need or will it use the latest figures available? - See http://rugby.lib.dm/a7SMk .
