UKIP's Candidate Wants to be Paid by the Taxpayer for FOUR Roles

16 Apr 2015

After news that UKIP's Gordon Davis intends to stand in FOUR elections this coming May (two in Rugby and two Leicestershire), Rugby Liberal Democrats challenge him to take Rugbys residents seriously and step down from his elections in Leicestershire.

Rugbys Lib Dem PPC Ed Goncalves said, 'Does he honestly believe that he can represent four areas simultaneously? Voters will be disgusted at his greed in wanting to be paid a salary from the public, allowance and expenses four times over.'

Rugby Lib Dems beleive UKIP's action shows a lack of commitment to the people of Rugby, clearly causing confusion to local residents in Eastlands Ward as we found out on the doorstep over the last few days.

UKIP Davis is a candidate in Rugby for the General Election, Rugby Borough Council for Eastlands Ward, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and Barwell Parish Council.
