Warwickshire County Council approves Paddox Primary School Extension

28 Nov 2014

The county council has now approved the proposed Paddox Primary School extension following further comments from residents. Several changes have been made to the original plans including:

  1. 1. The roof height of the extension will be lower than originally planned so as to be less intrusive.
  2. 2. The building materials have been changed to better match the existing buildings.
  3. 3. The proposed Welton Place access has been scrapped.
  4. 4. The access from Everdon Close will be for pedestrians only.
  5. More trees will be planted.

The extension is part of the County Council's plans to cope with the school places shortage - see http://rugbylibdems.org.uk/en/article/2014/947868/rugby-schools-oversubscribed .
