We are pleased to announce that the Warwickshire County Council Councillor Grant Fund 2016-17 for Rugby Town East (Eastlands, Paddox and Hillmorton) is now open for applications - the closing date is Friday 30 September 2016.

The Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations and provides funding for small-scale projects that meet local priorities. Councillors Jerry Roodhouse and Richard Dodd are the County Councillors for the Eastlands, Paddox and Hillmorton. Funding decisions will be based on a scored application process and the local priorities identified for the area.

An Application Pack is available to download from the following webpage: http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/getinvolved - follow the "Funding and Grants" link. Support for completing the application form is also available from Warwickshire Community & Voluntary Action (WCAVA) on 01788 574258 or leonie@wcava.org.uk.

An application Form Workshop will take place on Tuesday, 6th September 2016, 12.00pm - 3.00pm, United Reformed Church, 40 Hillmorton Road, Rugby CV22 5AD. This FREE event is being run by Warwickshire CAVA on behalf of Warwickshire County Council and will give you an insight into what the Councillor's Grants are, and advice of completion of the application form.

The event will also give you hints and tips to try and make your grant applications easier and to help you to be successful with your future applications. If you have any questions about the workshop, please contact Pam Luck on 01788574258 or email: pam@wcava.org.uk
